Saad Umerani

Founding Partner

Saad has previously worked in investment banking, management consulting & technology sectors. He founded two fin-tech softwares that are now used by major banks in the region for their credit approval processes.

Hubertus Thonhauser

Founding Partner

Hubertus has 20 years experience in starting up and growing companies in various C-level and board functions and as angel investor active in Europe, US and the GCC. He was co-founder of Babil Games, a leading mobile-games company in MENA, which he lead to a successful exit in 2016.

Yusuf Bashir

Managing Partner

Yusuf spent 20 years building and launching enterprise and big data technologies spanning business intelligence and data integration. Most recently, as VP New Products at SAP, he was part of the core team that launched the HANA database. Yusuf was the Managing Director of the $500M Infosys Innovation Fund. Yusuf is a graduate of the Sloan Fellows program at MIT and is based in San Francisco.
